NYCLA Officers The New York County Lawyers Association condemns yesterday’s assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump and commends the law-enforcement officers who responded to this criminal act. Political violence is utterly contrary to America’s constitutional democracy and the rule of law. NYCLA mourns the death of a bystander and extends best wishes for a rapid, complete recovery to Mr. Trump and the other wounded persons.
