The New York County Lawyers Association (NYCLA) officers today issued the following statement:

NYCLA’s officers congratulate Hon. Suzanne Adams for her elevation to the position of Administrative Judge for the Supreme Court, Civil Term, in Manhattan. She succeeds Hon. Adam Silvera, who has been named Deputy Chief Administrative Judge for New York City. Justice Adams’ appointment was announced by Chief Administrative Judge Joseph Zayas.

Justice Adams is a widely admired, able jurist. She is also a member of NYCLA’s Board of Directors. We are confident that she will be an excellent administrative judge.

Justice Adams is yet another excellent addition to the strong administrative team assembled by Chief Judge Rowan Wilson and Judge Zayas. We commend them for their continuing efforts to promote the fair and efficient administration of justice.

Congratulations to Justice Suzanne Adams.
