New York County Lawyers Association Joins Eight New York Bar Associations to Express Support of No Cap (A.5366 / S.5414)

 

New York, New York  June 6, 2024  — The New York County Lawyers Association (NYCLA) today announced that they have joined with the following New York bar associations:  New York City Bar, the Asian America Bar, Caribbean Attorney’s Network, Haitian American Lawyers, Filipino American Lawyers, Korean American Bar, LGBT Bar of Greater New York, and the Muslim Bar to show support for No Cap Act (A.5366 / S.5414).  This act would repeal the cap on the number of Supreme Court justices who can serve in a particular district.
