Membership Fees & Categories
NYCLA MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES, ELIGIBILITY AND DUES
NYCLA has two Member Categories: Non-voting and Voting. Members in the non-voting categories are entitled to all privileges of the Association except voting and holding office. Members in active voting categories are entitled to all privileges of the Association including voting and holding office.

| Sustaining Member | A Member who elects to be a sustaining member in any year shall not be obligated to continue as such in any subsequent year. Sustaining Members shall be entitled to all privileges available to the class of membership from which such Member has elected to take sustaining membership. | $600 | $600 |
| Associate | Members of the Bar of the State of New York, or of any other state, territory, District of Columbia or foreign country, who neither practice nor reside within the city of New York shall be eligible for Associate membership. | $185 | N/A |

All NYCLA Memberships are in effect for a calendar year and expire on December 31st. If you join NYCLA anytime other than December, your second-year dues, as well as any section or committee dues will be pro-rated according to month in which you join. You can pre-pay your dues at any time. All dues are non-refundable. New York County Lawyers Association is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Please note that only the portion of your dues that exceeds the value of any goods and services available to you is tax-deductible.
