2024 promises to be a landmark year in politics, and this year’s Presidential election is just the tip of the iceberg. Join our panel of experts as we address trending issues in Election Law and how they relate to this year’s Federal, State, and local elections. Issues to be addressed include:
- 2024 Elections in New York. What do I need to know as a citizen?
- Challenges to Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s New York residency and his ballot line in the State of New York. What happened and what’s next?
- Absentee Balloting and Early Voting. Our panel will provide an update on current procedures and recent developments here in New York.
- Redistricting. The redistricting process has been ongoing in New York for more than two years. Our panel will address what happened, and where things stand.
- An update on the proposal to allow Non-Citizen Voting in New York City elections, which was recently rejected on appeal by the Second Department.
- Comments on the upcoming 2025 Elections in New York City.
* A networking reception with refreshments will take place immediately after the conclusion of the program.
