Since its inception, NYCLA has been at the forefront of most legal debates in the country. We have provided legal education for more than 40 years.
Our expert panel will address succession planning options for attorneys, including highlighting the differences between an internal succession plan, an external plan, and a contingency plan in the event of an attorney’s unexpected disability or death. Opportunities for lawyers and firms to acquire practices will also be discussed as a way for firms to achieve strategic growth and diversity and inclusion
Numerous NY Rules of Professional Conduct involved with succession planning for lawyers will be reviewed and diversity, inclusion, and elimination of bias opportunities that the upcoming retirement of tens of thousands of Baby Boomer attorneys presents to the legal profession will also be addressed
