Since its inception, NYCLA has been at the forefront of most legal debates in the country. We have provided legal education for more than 40 years.
Join us for a discussion of the major state and federal protections for New York surviving spouses such as family exempt property, the right of election, and ERISA as amended by REACT.
The history and proposed changes to these protections will be reviewed, including the proposed Equity for Surviving Spouses Act (ESSA).
This CLE program will be relevant to attorneys with a general practice, an estate planning practice, a family law practice, an employee benefits practice, an employment law practice, or a debtor-creditor law practice.
