NYCLA’s CLE Institute is happy to welcome back Elena Deutsch, career coach and founder of WILL, who has inspired women lawyers, as well as men and nonbinary people, to find purposeful work and lead a life they can actually enjoy, to discuss when it is time to make a career pivot.
Career pivots become necessary when you feel burnt out, unfulfilled and seeking change. The change does not necessarily mean an exit from the Legal profession, but a change in your role or a new direction.
While a pivot is not as drastic a change as a career move, it is still a big decision.
That is why there are many factors to consider, fears to overcome, plans to make (if possible) and strategies to pursue.
