Since its inception, NYCLA has been at the forefront of most legal debates in the country. We have provided legal education for more than 40 years.
Join labor and employment litigator and former prosecutor Randi Cohen, together with Committee Chair Lauren Paxton, for a timely and engaging Employment Law Update.
The evening will open with a 1 Credit CLE presentation highlighting recent developments in workplace law and compliance here in New York, with coverage of select changes on a federal level. The presentation will highlight recent changes in New York law relative to pay transparency, paid sick leave, whistleblower remedies, and electronic monitoring. The presentation will also discuss the employment law implications of the legalization of cannabis, and litigation outcomes from pandemic-era disability discrimination cases. The presentation will be interactive, with ongoing opportunities for questions and answers.
The program will be of interest to in-house counsel and employment practitioners alike.
