Since its inception, NYCLA has been at the forefront of most legal debates in the country. We have provided legal education for more than 40 years.
Initially space law was primarily international law covering treaties, conventions, UN General Assembly resolutions and rules and regulations of international organizations.
Now, however, with the tremendous advancement of space exploration and the growing commercialization of outer space, attorneys are finding themselves faced with legal issues arising from this new legal frontier.
Our expert speaker will trace the progression of space law and discuss the multifaceted dimensions of space law, including key areas and emerging challenges, both nationally and internationally.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Alexandra is a graduate of Howard University, Temple University School of Law, and Norwich University School of Graduate Studies. She is licensed to practice law in three jurisdictions and recently completed an LL.M in Space Law at the University of Mississippi. She currently lives in New York, works for NYCHA and is also an educator who is passionate about spreading the word about space law,
