The evening will begin with a look at the life and lasting impact of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Not only was Justice Ginsburg a remarkable woman jurist, she also left a huge legacy  by leading the gender equality movement that continues today, displaying courageous leadership skills, providing a roadmap for logical reasoning, showing the importance of perseverance and resilience, while advocating for emphatic listening and humility.

In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the second session focuses on the contributions made by Hispanic combatants in fighting against bigotry, hate, and injustice directed toward persons of Hispanic heritage in such areas as segregation, inadequate health care, educational opportunities, treatment of migrant workers … and more.
