The Hon. Richard L. Price Public High School Essay Contest Awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the NYCLA Home of Law. This year New York Public High School Students submitted essays on the topic of disinformation and were tasked with responding to the following question: Does the government banning books violate the First Amendment of the United States Constitution? The NYCLA Law Related Education Committee will present awards to winning essayists from NY area high schools.
