COURSE DETAILS

The evening begins with a look at how the actions of the President effect the legal system, as well as how the way society reacts is impacted by the culture of the times. Look at how the power of the president has existed in response to a living Constitution which is subject to cultural norms of the tomes, and the role that lawyers play in supporting or challenging those actions based on the tenor of the times.

The evening concludes with a look at the cybersecurity threats lawyers and firms are facing with the trend toward on-line communications, digital storage of documents, remote work, virtual meetings, wire transfers, as well as the precautions that should be implemented. Understand the lawyers’ and firms’ ethical obligations to keep data safe, as well as their ethical obligations to react in the case of an actual data breach.
